Description given by the artist: "Salomé was one the most controversial characters of mythology. She's the perfect representation of femme-fatale, with her sadistic desire of people's death but, as the famous quote said, Memento Mori is attempting her too. About the painting, I take inspiration to her unusual power and sensuality. She dancing in a -surreal- last moment of life, where Salomé try to hide the desperation and pain in an arrogance and paradoxical attachment of life."
